Your First Visit
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Subedar will carefully review your medical history, explain your diagnosis, and discuss treatment options.
Occasionally, surgery may be performed on the same day as your consultation. However, when a more complex medical history or treatment plan is involved, a separate surgery appointment will be scheduled to ensure the highest level of safety and care.
Our goal is to provide thoughtful, unrushed recommendations—never one-size-fits-all treatment.
How to Prepare for Your Consultation
To help your visit run smoothly, please bring or complete the following:
Important Notice for Minors
All patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the consultation appointment. This is required for medical decision-making and consent.
IV Anesthesia & Medical Disclosure
For patients scheduled for surgery with IV sedation, please do not eat or drink anything for at least 8 hours before your procedure.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, high anxiety, etc.), or if you are currently taking any medications (such as heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, Mounjaro, Ozempic, etc.). This information is essential to your safety and allows us to plan anesthesia and surgery appropriately.
X-Rays & Imaging
If your referring dentist or physician has already taken panoramic x-rays or other diagnostic images, you may request that they forward them to our office prior to your appointment.
If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
